What a difference core strength made!

This was my second pregnancy and core strengthening with Stephen made all the difference. I never once strained myself or felt I was being pushed too hard. Stephen watched closely as I grew and he knew just the right exercises and stretches that I should be doing at that time. He knew just what my body could handle and what it was supposed to do each week of my pregnancy. I felt amazing throughout my pregnancy and didn’t have any of the back pain or extra weight gain that I had with my first pregnancy. My body distributed the growing weight of the baby easier with the strength I had from core building. The changing workouts kept things fresh so I never got bored with a routine. My attitude, stress level, and general health were vastly improved by working out. I was also able to get back into shape after the baby because I had such a good foundation prior to the birth. I am extremely impressed with Stephen’s knowledge of the body as well as his expertise in core strengthening. I recommend core workouts to anyone who is pregnant or looking to get into shape.

I have been working with Stephen for about five months. I had a bad knee and Stephen is very conscious of it and modifies the exercises to be less stressful on my knee and to help stabilize it. When you see his other clients working out, you can tell he really customizes each client’s workout to give them what they need and at a level they can handle. I find that I much prefer the functional training that Stephen does over other types of training – it has more effect, is easier on my knee, and is less boring than traditional exercise. Stephen is easy and fun to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone at any fitness level.

In the 1.5 years I have worked out with Stephen, I have gotten better results, physically, than with any previous training/workout regimen in my life. Functional core training is a highly advanced process, in my opinion. I find that I have better posture, use better form when lifting things, have more definition, and the best thing is that I have lost inches off my waistline (hopefully never to return). The atmosphere at the studio is jovial and the clientele is very friendly. The trainers are very knowledgeable and supportive – they can help you learn to perform better at whatever activity you enjoy from tennis to golf to cycling. When I think about trainers I had in the past standing over me, barking out reps, I just laugh now. I highly recommend Stephen if you want to get results!
